Custom Ceramic House Signs

I love bringing personal ideas to life through art. If you've been imagining something for your home, I'd love to hear about it.

Custom ceramic house signs

A welcome made by hand

I love the idea of a home having a little art of its own before you even step inside.

I create custom ceramic house signs with names or numbers, bringing lettering together with sculpted details, color, and texture. Flowers, leaves, and other personal touches can become part of the conversation as we imagine your piece.

In the making

From sketch to finished piece

I created these ceramic signs for our own home, incorporating our family name, house number, and pomegranate branches into the design.

Pomegranates have always been special to me. They remind me of my Central Asian roots and symbolize prosperity, success, abundance, and good fortune. We also have a pomegranate tree growing in our front yard, so including it in the design felt especially fitting.

The process began with a drawing, followed by carving the individual tiles in clay, refining the details, adding color, firing, and finally assembling everything into wooden frames.

The short video shows the different stages of the process, and the photographs offer a closer look at some of the details.

Tell me about your home, what you'd like your sign to say, and the colors or details you're drawn to. We can explore the possibilities together and discuss size, price, and timing.

You don't need a finished design to start the conversation. An idea, a favorite flower, or a few words about the space is a lovely place to begin.
